Robert Reames, CSCS, *D, CN, CPT/CES

Robert Reames (RR) is a nutritionist, personal and group trainer, an author and a motivational speaker.  Born and raised in Northern Indiana (Elkhart, IN) and a firm believer in hard work, dedication and honoring commitments, RR brings his clients and fans nearly 25 years of experience in the world of health, fitness, nutrition and wellness.  His strong athletic background teamed with being over weight as a kid continue to fuel his passion for the entire arena of the wellness industry which he loves so much. 

RR moved from Indiana (his two favorite movies are “Hoosiers” and “Rudy”)   to LA directly after college to continue to pursue his career and education.  Amongst the many specialty certifications RR has attained over the years he is currently a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) re-certified with distinction, (*D) with the National Strength & Conditioning Association, (NSCA) a Certified Nutritionist (CN) American Health Science University, (AHSU) both a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)  and is a Bachelor of Science graduate from Ball State University.  RR believes strongly that continuing education is a lifelong endeavor.  He consistently provides his clientele with the latest research in exercise science as well as the most current information/research in the fields of health, wellness, weight loss, nutrition, anti-aging, sports specific training and injury prevention. 

He is the creator of the RR Lifestyle Transformation System, author of the book Make Over Your Metabolism and is entering his 11th season as the head trainer, nutritionist and lifestyle consultant for The Dr. Phil Show. (nearly 70 episodes)   RR is also the nutrition and fitness contributor for Robin McGraw’s NY Times best selling book;   “What’s Age Got to do With It?” and the host of the Extreme Makeover Weight Loss Workout DVD.   He is the head trainer/nutritionist for the biggest most popular weight loss challenges in daytime TV history.  RR has been featured on numerous other television and radio shows, magazines and websites as well including The Doctors (multiple episodes) Extra, Access Hollywood Live, Hallmark’s:  Home and Family, The CBS Early Show, Extreme Makeover, The Rachel Ray Show, KIIS-FM, KOST-FM, Better Homes & Gardens, E Pregnancy, Prevention, Heart Healthy Living, Family Circle, Men’s Fitness, Fitness Magazine, the American Diabetes Association, LiveStrong and much more.  He has been a frequent contributor for The Fox News Channel, the website sponsored by Walgreen’s, in his 7th year as spokesperson for Gold’s Gym International, the spokesperson for the revolutionary nutrition, exercise and lifestyle program VEEP (The Visual Eating and Exercise Program) and the weight loss spokesperson for Pear Sports Inc. with the awesome Pear Pro and Pear Mobile real time audio, heart rate based training systems.   RR has worked with the USO, our Wounded Warriors and their families.  He continues to be a leader in the fitness/nutrition, health, corporate wellness and lifestyle industry on the local, national and international level. 

Growing up as a heavy kid in Indiana, “Rob” is passionate about helping people of all ages to achieve optimum health and weight control,  to “achieve personal best” and to “maximize your genetic window of opportunity” overall in the entire spectrum of health and wellness.  Based in Studio City, CA RR continues to train some of LA’s top executives, celebrities and all walks of life.
